The Ballpark font is a bit of a mystery as far as its origins. Though some conclude the typeface was initially developed by Phillip Kennedy for Avant Garde magazine in 1994, some speculate that it might have been created as early as the 1960s by Herb Lubalin or for use with an ad agency named Carl Ally Inc.
