Welcome! We named this typeface Leafy Font because it is a modern handwritten brush font. Wildtype Design is a company that creates fonts and took on the challenge of designing this first-ever font family. The font was brushed by Leva Mezule and assembled by Krisjanis Mezulis. Analyzing this elegant font family will show the experience and allegiances of the designers who made it.
The Font History story began in 2003 when a young designer wanted a script font for a music project called Leafy Font. He found a beautiful brush script typeface but was never happy with the spacing and height of the letters. After several failed attempts to make the font his own, he gave up and stopped work on the project. Over time people began to see unfinished musical projects posted online on his blog, which prompted many questions about the TrueType version of Leafy Font. Seeing this demand for his project, he decided to finish what he started on his blog. One night while riding on the bus, inspiration struck him.
Due to its breathtakingly beautiful appearance, the Leafy font family gains too much popularity in no time. In addition, it’s available in both OTF and TTF formats. Additionally, it supports many international languages, such as Russian, German, Italian, etc.
Featuring 95 characters and basic glyphs, Leafy Font Family is suitable for all uses. All characters have been drawn by hand using water brushes. You can see that the characters are fastened to the page. A font like this one was designed with great dedication by the designer, and each character shows that.
These free fonts are perfect for various projects such as logo designs, business cards, invitations, stationery, wedding designs, social media posts, poster advertisements, product packaging, printing on fabric, watermarks, special events, and more.
